Freshness, quality and safety
Once ashore, these oysters are cleaned and sorted, in accordance with UK and EU food, health and safety laws. After that, the oysters are packed fresh to order and dispatched the same day (Monday to Wednesday), for next day courier delivery to addresses in mainland UK. How to store oysters

Isle of Skye Pacific (Rock) Oysters
Grown and harvested from: Loch Harport, Carbost, Isle of Skye.
Available: All year.
Texture: Plump and juicy.
Flavour: Initially briny. Then nutty and woody, followed by lemon and citrus.A dull metalic finish.

Did you know...
Established in 1981, and family owned and operated, Isle of Skye Pacific (Rock) Oysters are responsibly and sustainably havested from Loch Harport, Carbost on the Isle of Skye, Scotland.

Only a few minutes away on the shores of Loch Harport, Carbost is the Talisker Distillery. Founded in 1830, the internationally renowned Talisker Distillery produces a premium Single Malt Scotch Whisky. In 2013, Talisker Distiller’s Edition won “Best Islands Single Malt Whisky” at the World Whiskies Awards.
 
At about 1,650 square kilometres, the Isle of Skye is the second largest island in Scotland. A walkers’ paradise, Skye has beautiful scenery with rocky coastlines, sea lochs, sheer cliffs, heather-covered mountains, waterfalls, wild flowers and numerous birds. The spectacular Black Cuillin is the only truly alpine mountain environment in Britain, and has been popular with walkers and climbers for over 150 years.
