Back in 1868, Edmund McIlhenny made his now famous red pepper sauce from three special ingredients: Aged red pepper, which have been matured for three years in oak barrels for improved flavour, quality white distilled vinegar, and salt. Today, the same recipe is used to make McIlhenny Tabasco Red Pepper Sauce.
Spice up raw (au naturel) or cooked oysters with a few drops (per oyster) of McIlhenny Tabasco Red Pepper Sauce! This hot sauce compliments and enhances the flavour of other foods, such as meats, pasta, pizza, nachos and tacos. Used in Bloody Marys and other cocktails.
