Oysters, mussels, clams, and cockles
Oysters, mussels, clams, and cockles (shellfish) are responsibly and sustainably harvested by our licensed shellfish farms and fisheries in the UK, Channel Islands and France.
Once landed, these shellfish are cleaned and purified at our shellfish farms and fisheries' depuration centres in natural seawater for a minimum of 42 hours in accordance with UK and EU food, health and safety laws.
For absolute freshness, these shellfish are packed fresh to order in boxes by our shellfish farms and fisheries' dispatch centres (Monday to Thursday), for next day courier delivery to our clients' addresses in mainland UK (Tuesday to Friday).
Our shellfish are authentic, with full traceability - from the shellfish beds to our clients' addresses.
Pacific and Kumamoto Oysters are available all year.
Native Oysters are seasonal and available from September to April each year. Mussels, clams, and cockles are seasonal and at their best from October to April each year.
Smoked fish and smoked shellfish
Fish and shellfish are responsibly and sustainably fished by our licensed fisheries in the UK.
Once landed, fish and shellfish are prepared, seasoned, and expertly smoked for about 24 hours over a blend of oak and beech wood by master smokers at our smokery.
For absolute freshness, smoked fish and smoked shellfish packed fresh to order in vacuum-sealed packs by our smokery (Monday to Thursday), for next day courier delivery to our clients' addresses in mainland UK (Tuesday to Friday).
