Poole Palourde Clams remain in Poole Harbour from seed until market size.
Once harvested, these clams are cleaned and purified in filtered natural seawater, packed live to order in boxes, and dispatched from the shellfish farm's depuration and dispatch centre (Monday to Thursday), for next day courier delivery to our clients' addresses in mainland UK (Tuesday to Friday).
Store and consume
For the freshest and best flavour, store Palourde Clams in the fridge and consume within 1-2 days from delivery. Clams must be cooked prior to consumption.
