Freshest samphire possible
Porthilly Samphire remain on the banks of the River Camel Estuary, until harvested for market.
Once harvested, these samphire are cleaned, packed fresh to order, and dispatched by the oyster farm's depuration and dispatch centre (Monday to Thursday), for next day courier delivery to our clients' addresses in mainland UK (Tuesday to Friday).
Store and consume
Store samphire (tightly wrapped) in the fridge and consume samphire within two days from delivery. Samphire can be consumed raw (in salads) or cooked (steamed and served with fish or shellfish).
