Our tips on how to store and consume smoked fish and smoked shellfish.


How to store and consumption guide for smoked fish
Upon receipt, store smoked fish (salmon, haddock, eel, mackerel, kipper) packs in the fridge, and consume within 10 days. Once the pack is open, consume within two days. Please refer to storage instructions and use by date on the pack.


Smoked Salmon, Hot Smoked Salmon, Hot Smoked Eel, and Hot Smoked Mackerel can be consumed straight from the pack.


Smoked Kipper should be warmed or cooked prior to consumption.


Smoked Haddock must be cooked prior to consumption.

Upon receipt, store smoked shellfish (prawns) packs in the fridge, and consume within 2 days. Please refer to storage instructions and use by date on the pack.


Hot Smoked Prawns can be consumed straight from the pack.
