The UK Government has advised that, where possible, food should be ordered online and delivered to homes by courier.

The information below is correct as of Friday 3 April 2020 to date.

Oysters & Other Seafood Available:

Orford Pacific Oysters and/or Smoked Fish;

Porthilly Pacific Oysters and/or Porthilly Mussels;

Maldon Pacific Oysters and/or Smoked Fish.

All of these oysters, mussels and smoked fish are packed fresh to order by our oyster/shellfish farms and smokery for next day courier delivery to homes. These oyster/shellfish farms and smokery operate in accordance with UK Government guidelines for social distancing and hygiene, and with UK and EU food, health and safety laws.

Courier Delivery:
We can accept orders for oysters and seafood to homes in mainland UK (but unfortunately, not to homes in the Scottish Highlands).

Our delivery days are Tuesday to Friday inclusive (excludes public holidays). Note: Our last delivery date before Easter is Wednesday 8 April, and our first delivery date after Easter is Wednesday 15 April onwards.

Our couriers have advised that the vast majority of deliveries will be made on the scheduled delivery day, however on rare occasions deliveries made be made the next day. To avoid disappointment, please select your delivery date one day in advance. For example, if you would like your parcel delivered on Friday, then please select Thursday as your delivery date (at Checkout, under Delivery Date). Your parcel should be delivered to your home on Thursday, and if not, then on Friday.

Whether delivery takes one or two days, please be assured that your oysters and other seafood will remain fresh and fine to consume. All orders for oysters and seafood are packed fresh to order by our oyster farms and smokery for courier delivery direct to your home, so you receive the freshest oysters and seafood possible. Upon receipt of delivery, simply store oysters and other seafood in the fridge: oysters remain fresh for up to 5 days, mussels remain fresh for up to 2 days, and smoked fish remain fresh for up to 10 days.

Our couriers have adopted the 'No Contact Delivery Practice'. This means the courier will knock on your door or ring your bell, leave the parcel at your front door, and then stand a safe distance back to ask the name of the recipient which the courier will enter into his/her hand held device. If there is no answer, the courier should leave the parcel in the safe place you nominated (at Checkout, under Notes & Delivery Instructions) or elsewhere at your property, and put a note through your door.

When your order has been dispatched by our oyster/shellfish farms and smokery, we will provide you with the courier consignment number for your delivery, so you can obtain an estimated time of delivery and obtain any updates from the courier's website if needed.
