Farmed Scallops are cultivated and sustainably harvested by hand in waters around South Devon, England.
Unlike wild scallops which are usually dredged from the seabed; farmed scallops develop to market size in lantern nets suspended to longline systems, and are collected by hand. These farmed scallops are packed live to order, and couriered to our clients' addresses in mainland UK the next day. Scallops can be pan-fried, grilled or steamed. Once cooked, scallops have a firm texture with a sweet and delicate flavour.
We do not supply pre-shucked scallops, or frozen scallops, or imported scallops from outside the UK.

Freshest scallops possible
Scallops remain in waters around South Devon from seed until market size (takes 3 to 4 years).
Once harvested, these scallops are cleaned and purified in filtered natural seawater, packed whole and live to order in boxes, and dispatched by the scallop farm's depuration and dispatch centre (Wednesday to Thursday), for next day courier delivery to our clients' addresses in mainland UK (Thursday to Friday).
Store and consume
For the freshest and best flavour, store live scallops in the fridge and consume within 1-2 days from delivery. Scallops must be cooked prior to consumption.
