Smoked Haddock is fresh filleted haddock that has been smoked, over oak and beech wood in a special smoker oven, by master smokers.
Haddock are wild-caught in waters in the South West of England, under responsible and sustainable techniques to ensure constant supply each year.
Pale golden in colour, Smoked Haddock is tender in texture; buttery, lightly salted and delicately smokey in flavour.

Smokehouse process
Fresh haddock are prepared, filleted, salted and seasoned with secret ingredients. Next, the haddock are placed in the cold smoke-box (further from the fire), and gently and slowly smoked for about 24 hours. After that, Smoked Haddock are removed from the oven to cool.
Packed fresh
Smoked Haddock are packed fresh to order in vacuum-sealed packs by the smokery in Orford, Suffolk (Monday to Thursday), for next day courier delivery to our clients' addresses in mainland UK (Tuesday to Friday).
Store and consume
Store Smoked Haddock packs in the fridge for up to 10 days from delivery. Once pack is open consume within two days. Refer to storage instructions and use by date on pack. Smoked Haddock must be cooked prior to consumption.

Recipe idea: Smoked Haddock can be grilled, baked, poached, or pan-fried and is popular with creamy mashed potatoes and vegetables. Smoked Haddock can also be used in cooked recipes such as kedgeree (see photo above), chowders, fish pies or fish cakes.
Ingredients: Smoked Haddock (fish). Filleted; care has been taken to remove all bones, however some bones may remain.
